This one-hundred-word story, The Vampire, has the proper word count and seems to reduce the horror and fear of the demonic vampire to that of a panhandler. I guess that makes Stacy the Salvation Army.

Well, it sounds like poor, polite Harold finally gets a volunteer. We don't know much about Stacy, or why she offers, but you can't account for people sometimes... Maybe she had just had a really bad day.

I'm curious my Stacy allows him to do that. I'm sure it would be quite frustrating to try and find someone because he was really willing to do that?
