-Very nice image and presentation, Bill.
-A well written poem with a good topic.
-A good opening line, followed by
the dawning of a new day, with
effective use of alliteration.
-A very good concluding line.
-Thanks for sharing it.

Love your chosen artwork, yes, and another month is upon us, and with it comes the cold, I remember last year, the only time I saw the sun was when I googled it, very well written and presented****kahpot

Yes, we close our eyes and suddenly it's another month like that! But we thank the Lord that we still woke up and have another day to praise Him. Thanks for the fun poem!

Yes June is the wake up, get up and do something month. May was a kind of sleepy month for me, but June, oh boy. I am prepared to really do something now. When July and August come around, I will probably just be content to sizzle.

July and August must be months in the year, right?

The image you chose alone is worth the stars! I didn't sleep last night, so my eyes knew I was awake. But, at our age, it's great to be blessed with another day of life!

You sound as if you're surprised. Yes time passes much quicker than we any of us would like and now it is just almost half the way through the year! Ulla:)))

Waking is the first miracle.

Absolutely! Hehe.

A very nice 5-7-5 poem. This is how I perceive time as it moves during the winter season. I wake up around June when the summer days start heating up and adding a brightness to the landscape. Nicely done.

As my dad would say "every day's a good day when you wake up" ...Especially when the sun is shining. I like the image you chose it's perfect!
All the best Bill.

I love the graphic that you used, it feels like it fits here perfectly. Great job of word usage in the confines of this type of poem. Best of luck going forward

This is another nice 5-7-5 poem with a lovely summer picture. It is hard to realize we are almost at the half way point. All the years lately seem to be flying by at warp speed.
