"That's the true meaning of redemption, the journey to make amends and find peace."

Yes, Carol ~ you have imbued every character, each dialogue, and scene with this most important message.

The "treasure" is revealing the truth, having the opportunity to "run the visions of the past" (very clever by the way) -- for those who need to understand -- and embrace the merging of what was with what can be.

This chapter makes me feel very emotional. I wish I'd had the chance to do this with my family's "spirits."

I defy anyone to read this book and not become enthralled!

This story turned into much more than a ghost story or a mystery as I wrote it. I could feel so differently, working through things myself, as I thought out each chapter. I love my characters and want only the best for them in the end. Of course, being me, I have to put them through a lot of drama before they reach their goal. Thank you so much for all your kindness and for reading the story.
Love you and tons of hugs, Carol

It's hard being behind...but on the other hand I'm excited to see what you've been writing two or three chapters at a time! Now if only supper would cook itself, I could go read another! (Smile)

Too bad I don't have it on one of those talking books. You could cook and listen. Love ya, Carol

Cook? Oh well. grilled hot dogs and macaroni salad. That's as good as it's getting here tonight! (It's still 93 degrees!)

It's 89 right now. It was hotter but a quick storm is blowing through and the temp is dropping with it. Hurrah!

I swear, I wait all winter for Spring and Summer...then Summer gets here, and I start pining for fall. I like 75-80 with a breeze. I hear it's like that in Hawaii! (as if....)

Exactly what I want...;love the breezes and sitting by the ocean. Heaven!

What a lovely chapter. It had everything in it, love, sadness for the time missed, hope and joy. Now Billy has seen what happened. It's nice that Esther and Madeline are now friends. Lovely, lovely chapter!! Onwards! Xxxxx

Marvelous writing. You guarantee the reader, in this case, me, will continue with the story. Each chapter ends with the reader wondering what's next. Nice work.

The plot thickens as ghostly family members come together and understand more about their history and relationships. I'm glad both Madeline and Esther have found much needed friendship, even though one is mortal and one a ghost. I marvel as your vivid imagination, but am enjoying your creativity.

Hello, dear friend...Glad to see you today. I too like the relationship between Madeline and Esther.... funny how that developed. Now who do you think is behind the bushes...the good guys or the bad? And what do they want?

I can't imagine how you came up with all of this. You've given me a whole new perspective on why ghosts might exist and why poeple might have NDE's I now it is ficfion but it would explain a lot. I'd hate to think there are ghosts arround everwhere hoping to atone and move on. Cool story.

I never would have given it much thought until the day my mother was hospitalized for her cancer and I was told she was dying. My daughter appeared (which I have a picture) and I didn't understand how I could see her. Someone said to me that she was making amends between her and me by being there for her grandmother. Don't know if it was true or not, but it definitely made a lasting impression on me. Thanks so much, Beth.

This was a very moving chapter, both the scene with Billy, his father and grandfather and also Esther and Madeline in the garden. Truths are coming out, and they are all realising the importance of truth and love, and spiritual redemption, rather than just finding an earthly treasure.well written, so imaginative. I see also some aspects of your yearning for your own family's redemption and transformation.

You see right through me, Wendy. One can hope for better tomorrows but ..... I appreciate that my efforts in the story touched you and you could sense the emotions playing out, even if they are ghosts. Thank you so much.

I'm glad that Billy got to learn more about his history and have that good reunion.
Madeline has really changed personality here - showing a very kind side of her and perhaps Esther has brought that out of her. We know that no one is good but all are saved by God's grace alone. I guess that Esther and Madeline will find that out soon.

I think Madeline needed a true friend, ghost or not, and she discovered what that meant and is following through. Glad you enjoyed the chapter, Helen.

This is a lovely chapter as Esther meets her son and grandson. She seems to have been as good a person as possible most of her life, I can't imagine what is threatening her at the end, although she seems to expect it.
