Good job Mary. As much as I enjoy true stories, I wish this one would be fiction. My prayers are with you and your husband.
God bless you and yours.

Thank you Wayne not only for the six stars but for the prayers when we need them so badly.

The caregiver often has a more difficult experience than the person requiring care. The caregiver usually has to manage everything alone. When you saw police officers at your front door, you probably knew your husband had use of the phone. I wish both you and your husband comfort and strength as you deal with the challenges of Huntington's.

This is a very nicely written story.
trying to concentrate on answering the question that he was fine. - Maybe a comma after 'question'?

This was well written you described the scene vividly, and it held my attention, I knew a man who had that condition and he used to do his comedy routine at open mics here on Long Island.

Hello Mary,
thanks so much for sharing this with your Fan Story family. I hadn't seen you on here much, and I knew that your husband was suffering with Huntington's, so I wasn't surprised. I've been wondering how you are. As often as you come to mind I pray for your situation. I know it's very taxing for you, and I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with it. It's hard to understand why God allows some people to suffer so, but the word says He won't give us more than we can handle. I do hope you can get some help, and that your husband will get some relief from this debilitating disease. God bless and keep you.

I do know about Huntington's disease and how debilitating it can be. A very well written story. The situation must have been quite embarrassing for you. You certainly do have your hands full. Take care. Jen.

This story, Unexpected Visitors, frames the situation well, as the police are participants in this ongoing real-life drama. We have several life issues here as well, but we are fortunate enough to still have our full faculties, dimmed only by the connection with the ever-changing world.
We so hope that your life is manageable and not too burdensome.
