Ooh, that's an interesting interpretation of the prompt! Let's hope little Betty didn't feel the need to write a book about her childhood trauma. Maybe after she got to the age of reason the three fairies would find her amusing. She could be their Snow White. You have the scenario for a whol book here! She could go looking for her adoptive parents thirty years on...

Ha! Hopefully, her surrogate parents will be loving and caring, and with the money she'd be getting from The Fairies she should be well provided for. And then she'll figure and work stuff out as she grew up. Thanks so much for your insightful comments and appreciative review. A story like this could understandably be off-putting for many.
