Oh wow! This really drives the condition home in the most dramatic and effective way. It reads like a horror fairy story and the reader is transported on to another level before realising that this is for real and a psychotic episode. Although this great little story is well written and has "infrequently" seen characters, yes they do happen, and have created good subjects for movies. This is beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

This story was heartbreaking, but you told it well. I think your portrayal of the mother going through psychosis was expressed well. Or was she seeing the truth? I like that it could go either way. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
