This is pretty decent overall but I feel like it is missing something. It needs some more depth to it somehow but I do get the message it is conveying.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, but I had to follow the form for the contest. perhaps I should have revised it for a different poetic form.

Thank you for sharing. I know what you mean about preachers not sharing the meat of God's word. I don't mind a little humor to get there, but overall chuch has turned into wanting to tickle the ears of the members. This should not be.
