Hi. I could not agree with you more about the atrocities Israel is perpetuating on Gaza. Palestinians have nowhere to turn. They're starving. Their hospitals are being bombed. They're running out of medicines.

I think that Joe Biden make a bad decision when he sold more weapons to Israel as they were doing this, but, Israel is the spy for the United States in the Middle East. Israel is the only country in the Middle East to have nuclear weapons so they will always hold the day.

The only reason Hamas shot the Rockets and killed people in Israel was because the people they killed were on illegal settlements, and Netanyahu keeps expanding those. I am often called anti-Semitic because I am not necessarily pro Palestinian, but I am against Israel settling on occupied land. I'm actually an anti-Zionist and that means I think Israel should exist, but not where it is today because there are too many religious sites that both Israelis and Palestinians to.

Your poem Reflects the starkness of the situation

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Ciao,

what happened on the 7th of October was atrocious but what is unfolding now in Gaza is not justifiable.

35,173 have been killed in Gaza, 14,00 were children.

In the West Bank, where there is no Hamas, 500 Palestinians have been murdered since the 8th of October by the IDF.

Biden has made America complicit in these war crimes. He supplies Israel with the bombs.

The world watches as Netanyahu bombs Rafah killing civilians... only two days ago 45 ,mainly children and women, were burnt to death.

The IDF doesn't let food aid enter Gaza. Children are starving. Doctors who have been there have described the situation as catastrophic.

103 journalists have been killed.
496 medical personnel have been killed.
224 UN humanitarian personnel have been killed

Zionist Netanyahu refuses to abide by the ICC Court of Justice.

America would have sanctioned any other country that committed such war crimes.

I understand the numbers are hard to digest.

Your poem presents the two sides.

Terrific review, Tempeste. Thanks for explicitly detailing the figures. They make the head reel. An acquaintance of mine, a volunteer medic, lost his life. The purpose of the piece, which you acknowledge, was to fulfill the brief and view the Hell from both sides. I hope have managed that with a little poetic flair, but artistry pales into insignificance compared to the reality on the ground.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, he went there to help and ended up paying with his life.

This war has got out of hand.

Our leaders have lost all reasoning. It's madness.

We are ALL going to pay a high price in the end.

PS. It upset me much but I keep informed on what is going on in Gaza and Ukraine, Europe after all is very close. (sigh)

You?re a star. I think most of the reviewers are looking for something cutesie or light hearted. Great that someone else is prepared to confront and call out the darker side.
