I love the wording in this entry. All the characters bring back so many memories for me!!! Great job, I can see them all flash through my mind right now!

Thank you for your great review.

Another fun chapter with those famous characters, Ohmie and Blado. I think they could have gone on forever with their sidekick game had mother not intervened. And, yes, you have dated yourself, Wayne:)) Or I simply haven't lived!! Then their adventure outside and Blado coming to Ohmie's rescue which is a very gratifying moment for both boys. As ever, you spin a wonderful tale with characters vividly emerging through credible dialogue within a well-structured story. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Thank you ever so much for your very uplifting review.

I always enjoy you Omni stories. These are a lot of sidekick to the main character in this story but someone who prevents a deadly snake attack deserves to be the Hero rather than the sidekick.

I enjoyed this exchange about heroes and sidekicks. I absolutely loved the end when Blado proved himself to be a hero after all. Keep up the good work! Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

You have dated yourself. LOL. And for us who can remember all of the characters you spoke of, you've certainly caused them to be dated too. So, with that said, I don't think I remember any of them. :-) Okay, so I'm lying. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your great review.

This was like a trivia contest, and you had to be about 80 years old to know ALL the characters named here, lol!
Blado is the hero, indeed. This had a nice ending, Wayne, that tied everything together. Ohmie lives again!

Yay!
Thank you for your great review. And immensely for the six stars!
I considered researching modern cartoons and TV/movie duos, but then, well... I didn't.

Well, it was something for us "oldsters" to ponder:-)

What a wonderful way to discover one can be, even thought one is inclined to self cast, probably by environmental influence, but we never really know what we can unless by emergent opportunity, no hero ever thought he was one, that why they come from common people, the only one who knows is God, well done, Wayne, blessings Roy

Well done. I don't know all of the ones mentioned, but it was a clever way for engaging readers,a dn inviting them to recall those simpler days. Bravo to Blado saving Ohmie from the venomous snake! A fine ending.

Thank you. I wondered how much reach Bulwinkle or Quickdraw McGraw had.
I appreciate your review.

I knew the latter but not the former.

You played to your audience on this one. Most of the old guard is rather up there in years. There are not nearly enough young ones. Very amusing and a few I didn't know. Partners makes more sense when Blado is such a hero.

Thank you for your great review.
You are right. I started to research modern cartoons and duo teams, but considering the audience...

Hooray for Blado! I like how Ohmie wanted Blado to view himself as his equal and then you took us down Memory Lane with all the shows and books with heroes and "sidekicks". Wish every kid had that kind of friendship and were well read - beyond the cartoons. Lol.

Yes, you nailed it, we write about a fantasy world sometimes.
