I enjoyed the rhythm of this as well as your assured rhyming skills. It flowed along beautifully (although I would have preferred stanzas to give your fine words some breathing space). But well done for telling your magical story and keeping me 'enchanted' all the way through. A good contender! Best of luck! Debbie

Your poem was so enjoyable to read. There was magic and wonder from the very start. The playful rhymes bring the scene to life and there was such excitement as Molly became a part of the magician's act. The unexpected twist at the end was great. I thought your poem was wonderful. We saw the world of illusion and mystery and you left me spellbound until the very last line!

Grand! It bounces along abab just as the prompt requires and showcases a classic trick along with some innovative wording (hen's eggs are hen's eggs) just for fun.
