I love your tribute to two childhood friends. You learned some valuable lessons from your family of origin but you also gained insight from people in other cultures. I love how you celebrate their contribution that enabled you to have a higher quality of life because you met and became Friends with them.

Both stories are special, and how wonderful it would be if you could reconnect one day. However I am sure they both have fond memories of their times with you as well. Best wishes for your entry.

This part confused me. How many brothers did he have. You say that your mother is trying to get you out of your brother's hair. And then in the next sentence you talk about playing with your brother. So I'm a little confused.
" My mother would take me to a playground, probably to stay out of my brother's hair. I would meet him and play on the swings and see saw"
I commend for seeing the inside of your.black friend and discarding thoughts about the outside. King said.be wanted to see a time when a man is judged not by the color of his skin but by the content of his character. I've never sssn it said any better.
