Yes, so very well said, every day we wake up is a blessing, work maybe hard and a necessity, but if we find the right work it can be enjoyable, very well written, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Ciao!
Food for thought.
I have been Spring cleaning and though at the end of the day I'm tired once I've had a shower and I am sitting on my couch in my pyjamas i feel quite satisfied with myself seeing the house starting to sunshine and smell fresh.
Those that project robots say in the near future robots will be doing the hard work and Man will have leisure time galore.
The truth is there is only so much enjoyment in watching TV, exercising, or even engaging with friends and family.
Reached that limit we just get bored.
There is much truth in the saying:
idleness is the father of vices
And this one is for youngsters that get up to all crazy stuff because they aren't studying or working a job.
Idleness in youth is not the path to virtue."
I saw on the internet a robot that was making dough, folding laundry , walking the dog.. and I yelled: wtf.
I'm all for robots doing dangerous jobs like defusing a bomb but they have no place in a bakery or a laundry.
In only 15 syllables you remind us that work has an important role in our lives.

I am just now getting back to my poetry after a long hiatus, so I am sorry for the very late reply. I thank you for your signature heartfelt, thoughtful and on-point reply.
And for the extra star ✨.
I hope you are well..

Ciao ! 🙂
Glad to see you back posting.
I hope you are feeling better despite the chaos and shenanigans our leaders are repeatedly putting us through.
Looking forward to reading your food for thought poetry!
Take care!🍀

Yess, life is precious and we live forever in Christ, but many will never know this secret. It is good to know Jesus. This is a good entry. Best to you.
