It is a blessing to see just one more sunrise. As you mention, the beauty of the desert is enough to make you pray for just one more. It's a good thing when you can look forward to another day. In some countries, people are fearful for what the future may hold for them. Excellent rhyme in this. I think masters needs an apostrophe. judi

It is a blessing to see just one more sunrise. As you mention, the beauty of the desert is enough to make you pray for just one more. It's a good thing when you can look forward to another day. In my part of Texas, we don't have the majestic saguaros. We have plenty of the other cactus. LOL They are beautiful, and I enjoy our trips to west Texas. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem.
