I must be a glutton for punishment because I enjoy writing in an A-to-Z fashion...(though I rarely enter contests)--
You've done it very well. Is Xanado a variant of Xanadu?
I couldn't find it anywhere, but I may be looking in the wrong place!
(Aren't those X letters challenging!?)
You've created a flowing verse!
That's not easy!

Yes, x letters are challenging. I had to look up the spelling. It?s possible that there are other spellings of this as well. Thanks for the great review!

LOL. I know "X" words are pretty scarce. The internet is wild. Seven sites can say ONE spelling is correct and the eighth lists variants.
I was just curious...

Ciao mystery poet, you have your first vote!
There were many great entries but this stood out for me cause I live on a mountain slope at 700 metres.
I too have pine forests and chestnut woods.
It's my haven and embraced in Nature's warm arms I find my zen time.

Thanks so much! I live here in Colorado, but love our little treks to Breckenridge! It?s a cute little ski town that we love to go to, especially in the summer. It?s so nice and cool up there!

You have the alphabet listed. The contest rules say to make it a cohesive whole. It looks like words on a list but you could make it more like prose by running on sentences. Nice work.

Thanks for the review! I do feel like it is cohesive though like when I say, "Artful Breckenridge can deliver ecstatic feelings" and "nice outdoorsy people quietly relax." Those are just a few examples, but I do appreciate your honesty.

Prose is much longer

But for the contest it says to only use exactly 26 words, one for each letter of the alphabet.

This abecedarian poem, Breckenridge, has the proper formatting and pushes the idea that Breckenridge is the place where all people would want to be.
