It's certainly silly:) and perfectly fits the brief! I really warmed to Billy (probably because I have a big nose myself). Your verse has such a charming, upbeat tone which doesn't surprise because your profile pic reflects a very happy lady!! Some lovely, ambitious rhymes too. I can see why this was the winner! It's well rhymed and metered and a toe-tapping joy to read aloud (as I did to my grandson)--

Clever does near define the quality of this poem. It flows with the rhythm of a great ocean. It brings a smile to this unsmiling face as I imagine the benefits of rolling with the tide and not resisting the currents of life. Beautifully written. I wish I had more stars to avoid this poem.

This is inventive and a lot of fun and I enjoyed this little rhyming story here about the blowfish. I saw a dead one on the shores of Acapulco once and evidently they are poisonous. I liked the (mattered, faltered, potter patter) rhyme collection at the end, much enjoyed, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x
