Hey Debi, once again, you have creatively celebrated the winding path of one of FanStory's, most prolific writers. I don't frequent FanStory as much as many writers do, but . . . when I come, I see Raul's literary footprint and his distinctive kindness is on full display for all to see. Thanks for honoring another member of our family.

Dan, you are too kind and in case I haven't told you in a while I do appreciate you very much. I know Raul has some struggles, but I hope that he is feeling good about himself. That is why I didn't want to forget him this year for his birthday.
Speaking of birthdays I am wondering if this October wouldn't be a better time to do the poem for you. After all, we are all three turning the next decade and I hope and pray you will be around to join us for that. So I will let you choose to do it now or then. It would be awkward to do both so I will let you choose. Let me see, you are the 26th, right. Born just almost a week after us girls? Or am I remembering right? Want to hear something strange, and that is that right now when Glen and I are on an outing for our fiftieth, Pam is in my state visiting her son.

LOL, we both were one day off. Pam and I are the 19th. I have your real birthday down but didn't think to look. So as the third triplet, you weren't so far behind after all. Hehe.

I've got Doris and Pam's birthday written down in my phone now so I can look it up to make sure if I need to.

That crazy talk to text! Lol more often than I want to confess to you I will say something in talk to text and watch as it is typing and then not go back and check to make sure that it doesn't change something or that I didn't miss something.
It was supposed to say:

Ooooh, hahaha! I never thought about that. I thought there was a Doris. Actually that was my mother in-law and I didn't care much for her. She wasn't nice to me until she got Alzheimer's and that is when I grew to love her.

Ha ha ha ha! That's funny that you say that. When I was dating Kathy my father-in-law George thought I was fantastic until one day his nephew and I caught him cheating to beat his 10 year old grandson and we called him out.(We didn't know he was aware of his chicanery.) For the next 35 years I was in his doghouse. That is, until he was struck with Alzheimer's and then he loved me again. L O L

I like that you brought out soft music helps him find his muse. This will cause the reader to pause to reflect upon what helps them find their muse. Mine are my spiders that are above my head or on the lamp right next to me. But that is a good idea toTap them on their shoulder to find out where their muse comes from. Thanks Debbie. I do believe that Raul is getting better all the time. As we all have since we first got here. I'm sure I am just grasping at straws but it even seems that he picked the right songs and had a reason for them. It feels like he chose them like this:

He is "making it happen" here with this FanStory family, cause he wanted to

Yes, I received comments immediately about the butterfly. Carol (Begin Again) said she was glad to see a butterfly. I recall she once wrote something about butterflies bringing her a special message. I love the blue butterfly also.

Hi Joan, I'm not sure if this was a compact poem, but it is in a shorter 8 syllable poem that I use for those that don't give me a lot of info, versus the 14 syllables I have to use when someone has so many details for their life. With Raul I had to look for a few of them.
