I have to read this from the beginning. I like what I've read in this chapter. A lot is going on, good description, fear, and a sense of doom, combined with a good history of this woman's life and murders.

Not good that Greg is going after Katie by himself. He's putting himself in danger and he doesn't know it. He hasn't put it all together yet. Not good. But his love for Jenny may protect him. This is another great write.

Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
You know how to build the tension, Doug! First all the background to the Succubus, then the terrifying dream, then woken up to discover that our friend, Kelsey is on the loose. Well at least Greg is prepped and knows that he'd better turn himself into a religious man pretty damn quick!! A very brave man about to face this evil, supernatural entity! Well done, Doug, on another excellent chapter! Debbie

Thanks, Debbie. I thought I would change it up and let the readers know that the killer was Officer Katie Kelsey before Greg finds out. HA!

NIcely done! The intensity of the story grows in this chapter. The exploration of Lilith's origins as a succubus adds a chilling layer to the story. I thought the conversation with Alexander Harper really impacted Greg and his investigation. I thought the buildup of Greg confronting Lilith was excellent. You could feel the tension! Well done again.

You had a lot to write in this chapter
It seemed longer than the others and a number of new characters popped up
Then there is the Inquisition initiative
A lot going on

We are on the fast track to the end now, Tom.
Comment from Wayne Fowler
All rightee, then. Now we're gettin' somewhere. Only now Greg had better be gettin' religious in a hurry!
Nicely written. error-free as near as I can tell.
Best wishes.

I fast tracked right through the Ben Persons saga. Got to where I was posting every 3 days to get through the 130+ chapters.

That's a heavy lift, my friend. Could not have been fun.
