Your poem encourages the reader to consider how Einstein thought, how he came to determine certain things to be true...and proved them. you paint him similar to yourself, curious to understand the workings of the universe and that makes the poem very relatable, not just biographical. Well done!

Well done, Jess. I enjoyed this perceptive poem about the genius of Einstein. What a truly gifted mind he had, which brought us a little closer to understanding the mysteries of the universe. Perhaps it was his dyslexia that enabled him to conceive of things in new ways, which indeed would have made it a gift rather than a disability.
You've captured the essence of his mind through well-chosen words in which the whisper of the cosmos seemed to be brewing in such a way that no one else of his time could perceive or conceive of what he was able to.

Here, here, Jim! It is fascinating to see how often strengths emerge from what?s considered a "disability." I love that you said that.
My littlest, Camryn, has a condition called DCD (developmental coordination disorder), also known as Dyspraxia. It has a wide range of effects and can impact an individual physically, cognitively, or both. Cam, fortunately, has no cognitive impairment. However, she struggles physically with gross motor coordination and low muscle tone, requiring weekly occupational and physical therapy. My point is, as devastating as it is to see her struggle, I have watched this little girl become an exceptional problem solver, develop highly advanced verbal skills, and blossom into the most empathetic human being I've ever known. Having to work ten times harder to achieve what comes easy to other kids her age (bike, hand-eye coordination, jungle gym, etc.) has built her a set of skills and determination that she may not have had otherwise.
