By now you're a seasoned veteran of the 5-7-5 form. What I'm getting from this is that tears can leave an emotional "scar" that is indelible as a tattoo!
If I'm anywhere near right, I can only say been there--felt that!

Yes, I really like the 5-7-5 poems. They are quick to write and a fun challenge to put a lot of feeling into such a short poem!

I really liked this poem about how sadness can be a long-lasting emotion. Often long periods of sadness leave a permanent change in a person. Comparing sadness to a tattoo, a lasing and visible thing, was a fresh way to explain this feeling.
