Yes, there were strong women in the Bible that assisted Jesus with His ministry. I also find it interesting that the women were the first to see Jesus after He arose. Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

Another stunningly artistic poem in the Ryokan style. The artwork is beautiful as is the presentation. Your colorful words paint a lovely story of love and devotion. Once again, an outstanding piece of work.

This is composed with such heartfelt devotion that it touches the soul of the reader. The Magdalene is an enigmatic figure but it is clear from the gospels that she loved Jesus. Your exquisite poem triggered a memory of my schooldays. I learned a hymn that I still know by heart
"O Son of man
Our hero strong and tender" is how it begins. That's what comes to me when I think of Mary Magdalene and her feelings for Jesus.
Thank you for sharing
Blessings, Cheryl

Thank you, Cheryl, what a beautiful hymn. I recently read a book called, "The Book of Longings" is a beautiful novel written by the famous author Sue Monk Kidd. The book is perfect for those who wants to read historical fiction. The story is about a poet called Ana, she falls in love with Jesus and they married. It's an interesting thought. Between Ana and Mary of Magdalena the poem was born. Jesus is such a beautiful person and God, it would be easy to fall in love with him.
Thank you very much, Cheryl I appreciate your detailed and insightful review 😊

To love and to receive love unconditionally can only be from God, what a beautiful way of describing how a person can/could see this, a wonderful read and form, and an excellent form****kahpot

I loved how you captured this unique moment of falling in love. I liked how you used different colors and the pictures go really well with the poem. I loved how you asked rhetorical questions to the audience and makes us remember loving memories. Great job

Oh I really like this. Perfect for reading it today. It's my husband and my twenty-seventh wedding anniversary. I felt this and added bonus that it was about Mary Magdalyn. This was great. Gretchen

The wonderful thing about Mary she turned immediately from her ways and followed, what woman wouldn't fall in love with Jesus? But they could never go beyond that. Beautifully written Gypsy blessings Roy

You really are a love/romance poet and you now soar with your writing gifts to write about the the love of the Lord and how you love Him and all that He does to show us His love for us! Beautiful!
