Hi Gypsy, I love this little poem. It is rich in sensory appeal, and I could just picture the whole scene. The night sky is beautiful, and it can be so peaceful and calm--even the cows know that. Beautiful photo choice. Well done. Xo. M

It took me a moment to get the connection between the cows and the milky way. I could see it, feel its peace and solitude. Then it hit me. Cows give milk, the galaxy is the milky way. Maybe they were looking for teats. Lol. Fun poem. Beautiful and mesmerizing scenery. Gretchen

This is the best of its kind that I have seen so far. The contrast is easy to observe and the verse itself compliments the allusion in a very clever way. I wish I could put it on my large screen tv. Well, I'd have my son do it on his visit from college next month. Very well written and expressed Gypsy Blue Rose.

I haven't encountered this form before. Is there a rule for syllable count?
What attracted me was the title... I like cows and often write about them. Love the presentation and the mind picture.

Japanese haiku follow the 5-7-5 but English Haiku is 17 syllables or less.
