WOW! I can lose things around my own home and they will never be seen again. It's a vortex, I know it. Somewhere in Australia my stuff is popping up and you guys are using it. In fact, those look like my curtains behind you in your picture. Seriously, that is truly amazing. Now, about that dingo that took the baby-.

Thank you very much Eean. Fun review. I appreciate your reviewing an expired piece too! Yes, that dingo ? and the mother wrongfully jailed. Sad story. But thanks again.

Thank you, Roy for reviewing. Yes the importance of a wedding ring with its symbolism is significant. An explosion of posting? By whom? I generally only post two or three stories in a week, so I am not sure what you mean here?

What an amazing story, Wendy, so well told too! I love stories about the kindness of individuals and the lengths they will sometimes go to to demonstrate their kindness. We hear so much bad news all the time, that these stories are very gratifying to hear.
I lost my wedding ring in a similar way while white-water rafting one time, but it was lost and stayed lost, unfortunately. It's doubtful someone would ever find it though, because no reefs around to attract divers.

Sad that you lost yours! Yes. It is good to share encouraging stories of honesty. I am very pleased you enjoyed this one , and I greatly appreciate the honour of a six star rating. Very encouraging.

Unbelievable, I can't get over how the rings were spotted, and returned, the power of love must have willed it, I usually remove my jewelry when in the ocean,

Thank you so much Joann, I appreciate your lovely review and the six stars. Yes, removing it is best as the deep waters are cold and cause shrinkage of finger size.

Life is full of miracles and you've shared three amazing ones here! I can't imagine the joy each couple felt at such meaningful rings found...
But I do believe this world has many wonderful people who (despite what the daily news would have us believe)--
Truly are compelled to do the right thing!

Yes, I agree. We are swamped with bad news, and I think it is good to remember that good things are also happening. Thank you so much for the positive review - I am glad you enjoyed the story.

We need many more of these...
God wants us to remember there is goodness abounding!

This was really heartwarming - the willingness for some good, honest people to go out of their way to help a stranger. And I love how you not only gave other examples but ended with the parable of the lost coin. It's wonderful that we have that example from our Good Shepherd to always go out of the way to bring back His lost sheep!

Yes, that's how precious each of us is to Him! I too was pleased to see the perseverance and honesty of the Englishman, in particular. I think people are more moved to return a wedding ring because of the huge sentimental value, and as you say, that is very heart-warming. Thanks so much for a lovely review. Thanks for the prompt as well!

What a interesting tale that keeps popping up over and over! I've learned something - leave the rings at home while snorkeling! I'm glad these people had their rings returned.

Yes, they should leave them at home (or more likely in a tourist resort or motel), because the water at the sea bed is much colder than than the warm surface waters (in the tropics) and the fingers shrink a bit when they dive deep down. Thanks so much for reviewing.

Life is so amazing at times. There's no way to explain these things except to consider them possibly being miracles. But the perseverance of humans could also be a reason. We can often do incredible things just by putting our mind to something and never giving up. Interesting stories. Thanks for sharing.

This is a heartwarming post Wendy, all those people who found these rings would not rest until the rings were returned to their owners, how amazing is that. Miracles do happen and I enjoyed reading about these, love Dolly x

Hello Wendy,
thanks so much for sharing this with us. It gives me hope for humanity. Frankly, I couldn't take my ring off unless it was cut off my finger. It's been on there for over fifty two years, and the area around my ring is smaller than the rest of my ring finger. I used to worry when I was in the navy that it might slip off my finger and fall into the sea, but fortunately that never happened. Great story gal.
Have a blessed day.

Hi Wendy,
yes, we're back, safe and sound. I'm not sure if I'll ever take a trip out of state again. The traffic was horrific, and traveling always messes up my digestive system. I hate flying because it's always such a pain, and the expense is astronomical. Other than all that, it was great!
