Shirley, congrats on your contest win! I'm relating very strongly to your dog here! A lovely little verse and a well-deserved win! Take care Debbie

An excellent entry for the Dog Bone writing prompt. This poem meets all required criteria of the contest. Really cute poem. Brought a smile to my face. Good luck.

This is cute, and a worthy entry for the contest. I'm sad to say I can easily relate to the dog. I can't say how many times I've been sure I put something somewhere, only to find out that I put it elsewhere or, even worse, never had the item at all.
Good luck to the pooch in finding his bone, and to you in the contest.

Your playful poem captures the frustration and humor of forgetting where you left something. I like that you showed this through the dog. But I felt this was me! haha The tone is light-hearted and whimsical, making it enjoyable to read. The use of rhyme and rhythm adds to the playful nature of the poem. Very fun and enjoyable to read.
