The image of the windmill shaving the moon is wonderful, from certain angles it could very well look like that, an excellent one-line haiku, very well presented****kahpot

What a clever haiku
When the moon appears to be low in the sky it seems you can reach out and touch it. So it's easy to picture the windmill as an old fashioned cut throat razor. The haiku also takes advantage of the use of shave to mean something that comes close.
Excellent creative work

Hi gypsy, your one-liner about a windmill gives me a clear picture of a windmill and how its long arms or extensions reach up to the sky, and the words "sharp" and "shave" are used well. Dove

Very intriguing haiku. I loved the simple picture of chose to accompany this. I could see the imagery . I liked the sense of the blades shaving little bits of the moon with every turn. Great poem full of depth. Gretchen

I like it! At first, I was thinking of Don Quixote when I saw the "Windmill." I like the way you change our perspective in viewing the windmill blades "shaving the moon."

I love Don Quijote de la Mancha story. In Spain I watched a lot of movies about it, I never read the book.... it's huge.
Thank you very much, big sister.

It goes pretty fast - there are two parts. The first part goes quickly and you can read it in Spanish! That would be wonderful. Of course, Cervantes' Spanish is antiquated. But it was the first European novel!
