Hi
This is a terse but telling poem. Gun violence has take way to many lives. It does seem like some people think gun ownership might be as patriotic as the gun in the picture suggests.

An excellent entry for the 1-9-1 poem writing prompt. There is a lot of truth spoken in only eleven syllables. I wish we could pass gun reform using lots of syllables and many edulated brains. thanks for sharing.

1-9-1 is hard to do. With such a limited format, you've still made a point. I appreciate the connection drawn between the first and third line. Two words that far apart is probably not alliteration, but it's a parallel at least. I think it worked well.
