Ouch - now that is definitely on the Horror/Thriller Richter scale, for me, at least - effective use of language and a great pic to illustrate - has my vote !

Horror and nostalgia, a great combo. The werewolf legends have always fascinated me, and who can forget those old black & white movies about them? Your poem graphically describes the creature after his transformation. Rod

There is just something about hunger that can't be satisfied that is very creepy. Good entry for the prompt and a totally terrifying picture to accompany it!

great cinquain, great image. It is very visceral writing. If I did not know what a werewolf was, I do now. I can smell the bloody intention of the creature.
