I think we can sometimes enjoy our projection of the future dream in anticipation of what blessings are to come, opposed to the good memories of the past. Beautifully written June, blessings Roy

Beautiful poem, June. Your title drew me in. I have spent the last few days working on one of my daughter's scrapbooks. I have no mementoes of my young life and bins full of stuff amassed from my children. Even though your poem is about a mental scrapbook, it still resonated with me. I am trying to get through the scrapbook so that I can focus on building more memories with my family.
Hope you are doing well.

A lovely poem with such good advice. It's comforting to remember
good times but also to look forward to more to add to our treasured
memories. Lovely images and rhymes.

What a beautiful and reflective poem! It flowed perfectly. I enjoyed the natural rhyme. Your use of emotion truly captures thinking about the past while looking forward to the future. The metaphor of a mental scrapbook is particularly evocative, painting a picture of treasured memories carefully preserved in the mind. Your poem is both heartfelt and uplifting, conveying a sense of hope and appreciation for life's journey. I love that! This was so enjoyable and well written.

Enjoyed your trinnolet poem! You're right that we're always adding to our mental scrapbook. I especially liked "new memories that can be classed and saved 'fore Time breaks in to steal."
