Often when I try to be inspired, it just won't happen. It's when my mind is concentrating on something else, that inspiration strikes. Your 5-7-5 poem is a good example of that. You have the syllable count correctly and the photo is a good illustration to the poem. Good job!

I'm sure many writers can relate to the sentiments expressed in your poem. We often feel we have nothing of value to say. We often struggle with the words to adequately express what we DO have to say. And then, as your poem states, "What was I saying?" I enjoyed the humor and reality of your work.
