It feels very primal at times. I especially like the line "across a wooden floor of echoed patters". This is my first time seeing the word "Kodakian", but it works for me.

This is certainly a new twist to music; I feel revved up in spirit, but sadly, I cannot dance to save myself. Fingers rippling across the keys is so different to Danny Boy or something of that ilk. You may have wanted a different font in the verse that begins "like unwilling marinates" but it looks odd and still your choice Good luck in what you do.

The font size is a weird glitch. I've tried to fix it and it shows one size. When I post it is when it changes.

I know that feeling, John. Like an irritating itch, the jolly font is a rather large annoyance. I loved your story though.

Your poem brought the music to life here and I enjoyed your words filled with song. My only suggestion would be to add some punctuation to make your poem pop John, love Dolly x

I lobe Jazz as well as Blues because my eldest brother who is now passed, introduced me to music. He was much older than me and he used to bring me to a club called The Cave in the NYC area. It was cool of course. Your good imagery and descriptions express this music well. The movement in your words is an excellent way of expressing the sound.

Best wishes

Alex

This poem effectively captures the energy, excitement, and magic of a live musical performance, inviting the reader to join in the experience and revel in the joy of music. It is a celebration of the power of music and its ability to transport listeners to another realm. Thanks for sharing.

This poem, Organic Sounds, brings the readers into a jazz environment where the music becomes the artist and the listeners become part of the art being formed. Nice.

Your poem captures the energy and atmosphere of a jazz performance so well! I love the imagery and your word choices. "Sticks spinning" and "fingers rippling across the keys" really gives me a visual of the music and movement of the scene. Great job.

Thank You. I was on 18th and Vine in Kansas City when wrote that. The atmosphere felt great and I was trying to capture the scene.
