Hanging out wiht my friends is my own therapy, as much as writing is... It's such a blessing to be able to dig into the weirdest part of my brain and let it out to roam! 😅

I'm with you. My best friend, Rita, had to take a job in San Angelo and, while it's only 80 miles away (close for this part of TX), we just don't get to see each other often. When she comes into town, she's with kids and grandkids. I was mourning her move and God put Jeanenne into my life iwthin a few weeks. She hasn't replaced Rita, of course, but has given me a new friend to enjoy , counsel, get counseled from, and all the other things friendships give us. :)

I loved your poem. It beautifully captures the warmth of friendship. I like how it highlights the simple joys of sharing moments and conversations over a cup of tea.
