Deb,

Silly. There was nothing creepy about this fairy. She sounded rather delightful. *smile*

But I hope you'll pardon me if I don't get out there TODAY... it's my first day in a long while without a baby. I think I will sit here on FS. Or sleep. hahahaha!!

A single note:
1.) As she looked out, (with) such surprise,

Thank you!!

Every little girl dreams of meeting or being a fairy, or at least dressing up as one! I enjoyed your fun poem and it reminded me of the documentary about fairies (which was a hoax) but Arthur Conan Doyle believed it!

There used to be a great poet on this site, years ago, she died. Brooke wrote all about fairies and had me believing if I went out to my oak grove I' find fairies. Thank you for sharing this and bring back this fond memory.

As she looked out, iwth such surprise, (with)

I'm honored, Barbara! I remember Brooke from when I wrote here in the past. I didn't know she'd passed... I'm delighted you like the poem and that you found my 'switchy finger' mistake. I do it SOOOO often! lol.
    Blessings, my friend,
    Deb

This is a delightful poem that any little girl would enjoy.
The little fairy sounds like a fun playmate.
The images are magical and the rhyming well crafted.
Thanks for sharing.

Love the innocence in the poem. You're so right, what kid wouldn't like to know and play with fairy? If only it were as easy as going to the garden. Friendship is wonderful.
