This is a very good narrative poem about betrayal. You set the scene skillfully, SHOWING the reader the two mountaineers, one about to betray the other. An excellent plot twist after Jean-Paul follows his code. Sometimes your meter is uneven, but overall this is an exciting tale. Rod
