Oh how creative! I never thought of memories in that way. Your poetry has the ability to open the mind of the reader to new possibilities and that's the essence of your brilliance
As for being swept away by memories, especially memories I would prefer to forget, I hope the boat of self can navigate the rapids safely LOL

The waterfall! I wonder if then past the waterfall, the memories are forgotten or if they are sent to the huge ocean of memories and it's harder to fish out the specific memories.
