There really isn't anything more beautiful than a well tended garden when the sun isn't blazing overhead. I used to sit on my mother's back porch and look at the forsythia and the irises gently moving in the evening breeze. It was peaceful and beautiful. Gretchen

I like your personification of a shadow and I wonder if that kitty is named "Shadow" and I like your play on words with the "dusk quilt" on a "flower bed" which conjures up a restful picture!

Thank you very much, big sister. Shadow is a good name for a kitty. Maybe in the future we can get another cat. We are not ready now.

It's not about a cat. I used personification of a shadow. I know a cat is in the picture... maybe I can change it.
