Good does happen in our society, but it doesn't make for good stories, so doesn't make money. Prayer is the key to being happy and yes, we should share good things that happen. Thank you for sharing this beautifully written poem with us.

This poem points out the dichotomy between the soft winds outdoors and the scent of spring, with warm weather and more visiting among neighbors going on, and couples strolling, but then the news revisits everyone with 'more incidents/Of anger and hate.' It seems this mortal world is full of opposites, whether we are ready for them or not.
