You both are amazing! I'm guessing this is your husband? I love how you support him and learned so much about PSP and taught us about it, too. And I admire the perseverance and exercising!

Thank you, Helen. We are both finding ways to cope and move forward. Poetry helps!

Well done. Very moving and beautiful, showing the strength of your bond of love for each other, and also shoeing your faith in our Heavenly Father.

Ginda,
I have had MS for 30 years and mostly it hit my eyesight which I fought back through steroid infusions. My balance has been effected now. I'm not sure what illness you have but you seem to have a good spirit to fight it. Excellent poem and presentation. God Bless you. Best wishes.

Answered this but it must not have saved. God bless you for facing the many challenges of MS and fighting back. I imagine that your writing brings you solace and comfort. I hope so. It is my husband who suffers from PSP, a neurodegenerative disease, with no cure, and poetry is what brings me solace and comfort. I recently published my book of poetry called Hummingbird - Poetry on PSP & Parkinson's. Available on Amazon. Back to your review, thanks so much for your positive comments.

Thank you for reminding me; now I remember. I'm in remission currently so I'm thankful to have the "good" remission form of MS. I need PT mostly. Spouses go through it all together. Writing is a big help, so true! You're welcome. :)

That is such a wonderfully succinct and meaningful phrase - 'come what may. I know this to be your husband and the difficulties you encounter in your care of him. It's so challenging when the equalities, once shared in a relationship change, transferring the burden on to one of the parties. Hopefully, there are times when this load feels lighter and more rewarding and your faith is clearly a tremendous help. From your photograph, (I assume this to be your husband), he appears determined in his mobility which is a good sign regarding his motivation. Thanks for sharing your poignant, rhyming verse, inspired by faith. Take care, Debbie PS And well done on the challenge!

Debbie, your response to my poem means so much to me. I feel very blessed that my husband is doing everything to fight back and he is doing well for now. Writing poetry is what has brought me to a place of peace. I recently published my first book of poetry entitled "Hummingbird - Poetry on PSP & Parkinson's" available on Amazon, if you would like to have a look. Hope your day is filled with blessings.

I would like to because I, too, have a degenerative neuro disorder.
