Oh, this is adorable and Limerick perfection! I almost didn't click on to this contest because I come away so disappointed. The winner, I declare it! Purrrrr-fect! Sending you my best today as always and my good good wishes in the vote.

This limerick, Hat'll Do, has the proper formatting and uses the hat scenario well with some well-chosen substitutes for the necessary cap cover. Nice.

Great! A bi-lingual post here. How could I resist? The image is delightful, the limerick reads fluently and captures the scene perfectly (bar the headwear!). A complete package. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Oh what a gorgeous little poem! I love it.
There's not much more to say so I'll just print it again here!
A fashionable feline named Faye
misplaced her bejewelled beret,
so sporting a kepi
she met her beau Pepe
and lapped up her cafe au lait.
I lapped it up too!

This Limerick is simply a gem in the firmament ! Such poetic skill ( the title) and gallic references to launch these two coffee drinking cats into the feline stratosphere- raises a great big hearty chuckle - how I wish I had 6 remaining !!

That is great, I had not heard the word Kepi before but I have seen pictures of them from the 1st world war. This is great fun and a great entry to the contest insisting on cats. Good Luck.
