there's such a beauty and timeless energy in delving into these thoughts, but there is also a sense of sadness of the coming to and end generated within your last two lines.

So, I'll have to comment... how beautifully sad!

I've been absent this week... no need to tell you why. I try not to live in it.

But a belated congratulations on a second placing in this contest my very creative and talented friend.

This is one of those reads that reverberate way after the actual read... hmmmm, the echoes of thought?

am sad it is so. I won't say, I hope all is well; I will say I will sit with you in silence until the storm passes, my friend.

There's the expression about "riding into the sunset" and there is something sweet about viewing and living those sunset years together even though these are sometimes the hardest.

To grow with your life partner is a wonderful dream that too few couples get to enjoy in today's society. My husband and I will be married 47 years in October. WOW!!! I had to pause and think. LOL I enjoyed reading this club entry and reflect.
