you have created 'delicious'... something one reads and sees and wants to taste. Now that's one hell of a sensation hit you have evoked within such a limited format... yes, I grant that the image takes me to the place, but it's your words that solidify every intention and desire to do so.

I had a flashback to the eighties with that picture. Lol. I enjoyed the description. The plump lips and the juice. Then the hint that someone could taste the juice on those plump lips. Great poem. Gretchen

Whenever cherries are a reasonable price, I always buy them. I love them, even at a reasonable price they're higher than other fruit, but still, they're too good to pass up. Where I grew up in Illinois, we had two cherry trees. It was always a battle with the birds. LOL Your poem is rich with seductive color.

Whenever cherries are a reasonable price, I always buy them. I love them, even at a reasonable price they're higher than other fruit, but still, they're too good to pass up. The colors are bold and seductive and the message can be felt several ways depending on the mood of the reader. Tge imagery is clear and very expressive.

We had some heavy rains which ruined our cherry crop last year, so it's been a drought on cherries, but yum they are a wonderful fruit, and cherry wine is marvellous, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Cherry is a luscious summer fruit and also a great lipstick color. I guess her lips look very enticing and the kiss feels like the sweetness of summer because of the color and taste!
