How interesting, I suspect some of these are human tribes, perhaps some from Alaska and beyond. It's an amazing bird, incredibly intelligent, a true icon, and you've explained it so eloquently in verse. Well done Kim, blessings Roy

There are many myths about ravens and these are all human inventions and many of our birds are tarred with such pagan ritualistic myths, I enjoyed your unusual and well worded poem, an entertaining piece, love Dolly x

Thank you for sharing the native lore of the raven. All those corvid birds are so smart and take revenge to a whole new level so we never should cross a crow or a raven.

    You are so right about the birds. My friend's last name is Crow, so she loves all things Raven/Crow. Her husband is part Eskimo. I wrote this one for Tami.
