This is a cute limerick that made me chuckle when I reached the end. A little bit of appreciation goes a long way in a marriage or any relationship. I'm blessed that my husband thanks me for whatever I do for him. Have a great rest of the week, and blessings on your NaPoWriMo writing. Carol

This trio of limericks is a complete story, with two very different characters, a conflict, and a twist. The underappreciated wife decides to take drastic measures. A common theme, but not commonly told in limerick! I think you made the form work for you, making this funny instead of a sad tale.

Oh dear! I hope that man learns some manners and gratitude fast! And homemade bread is something to give thanks for indeed! Great job telling a story with your suite of limerick verses.
I guess you could spell Mable that way, I guess I normally saw it as Mabel.

Thanks for catching the misspell of Mabel. It is corrected now.

Oh yes, Mable's revenge! Well, at least in her imagination if not in reality. Your stacked limericks reads fluently with humour and anticipation. Well done on this April challenge! Best wishes, Ginda. Debbie

I liked this suite of limericks. It was most entertaining. I hope she didn't really poison the dough. LOL. Thank you so much for sharing, and best wishes to you.
