I totally enjoyed and related to this piece. Your delivery was excellent I'm connecting the affects of one's humble beginnings with how they fair through life and the color of their ending. Well done. I appreciated the read.

I am celebrating your great review with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It is not my first, but my wife is not home so I have no adult supervision. Anyway, thanks for reading and thinking about my story. It has been quite a life. I am a very lucky man to have met all the interesting people in all those great places. And, I got paid for that! What a ride. Glad I could share it with you. Thanks!

This is a fascinating write about your career and where it took you physically and mentally and how much your working life meant to you. A varied career with a few stumbles along the way but also a satisfying life where you did not starve and were able to look after your family and enjoy your leisure time. All in all I think you have had a very good life and you should be grateful that illness did not prevent you from enjoying yourself. A fine post for the contest, love Dolly x

Ms. Dolly, you are always too kind to this old Texan. I am glad you enjoyed my tale of me. One day, I hope there is a prompt which allows me to tell of my one round of golf at St Andrews... And, perhaps one day I will tell this: As a young man, I often said, "Someday I hope to live in a house filled with beautiful women. And, our Lord, obviously having a sense of humor, had me father three daughters. That gave me a total of four beautiful women in my house - with all the expenses and drama that entails. My prayers got considerably more conservative..."
