Sorry it took me so long to answer. I'm very busy and hardly ever have time for FS.
    Thanks for reading.

This is true feng-shui, Maria! I think I feel calmer already! I love green and your lovely 's' alliteration is very soothing. You know more about this art than you're letting on! Beautifully crafted little snug for me (I wish I was there:)) Good luck! Debbie xx

I don't know much at all about Feng shui, but I find all Chinese disciplines (and also lit) very alluring.
    Thanks for your review.

Could you possibly have gotten more s-words into this short poem, Maria, lol!

I do love the alliteration and the whole thing is so Serene - there's another s-word for you.

Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Serene. That's a lovely and fitting one.
As you told me not long ago (in other words), it's really difficult to show great craftsmanship in these short poems.
The first version had no s's and it was awful boring. So I decided to go overboard with the alliteration.
    Thanks for reading.

That's a clever alliteration lune! All but the very last word. If you wanted that one, you could have used "shape a snug shelter." Very "Zen" indeed!
Best wishes in the contest!

Your lune poem is very well written in an enjoyed it very much. The alliteration of the letter. S is very interesting and used to be commended on how well you achieved it. Patricia .

Serenity? What the heck is that? In this world there is not such thing as peacefulness, calm, or being untroubled. Just when we think things are slowing down, they come to pieces again. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Tell me about it. I was just trying to convince myself.
When everything is okay, I'm kind of scared, you know? Nothing is ever perfect for long.
    But well, that's life. x

Wow, I like the new picture, or really old picture. LOL. Not something I usually notice or pay much attention to. Have a wonderful week!

I changed it so long ago that I don't remember which one it is. Let me check...
Are you calling me old by the way? LOL
Yeah, I guess it's between 15 and 20 years old, I'm not sure.
    And I'm 59 now... so.
But I've got to change the pic now because it's oddly-shaped. My face is a lot rounder.
Thanks once again for being so sweet.

Old? You?re just a baby at 59. But you?d be kind and sweet at any age, all that really matters. :-)
reply by the author on 01-May-2024
I guess 59 is an okay age, but I wouldn't mind being forty again (that's when my youngest was born and I love babies).
Being a teenager again... on the other hand. No, thanks. Never.
    Take care.
reply by Ric Myworld on 01-May-2024
I?m with you, 59 is an okay age, 40 is even better. But since we can?t go back, we just have to make the best of what we have . . . If we can.

Exactly. I shouldn't complain. I'm healthy, have enough money to leave on, so what else can I ask for?
reply by Ric Myworld on 04-May-2024
Well, health comes first, food and shelter, and maybe a special someone to share it with?
reply by Ric Myworld on 04-May-2024
" . . . Money to leave on?" Never thought of it that way, but I guess it might take more money to leave on than live on. :-)

LOL! I had to go back and check. I didn't know I had written that.

This lune poem, You've been Feng-shuied, has the proper formatting and seems to suggest that either on the human level, or the local frog, design makes the home better.

I'll try to remember next time. To be frank, I don't think I'd be able to find it again. x

If it's a free photo to use you can just say image from google...from Pinterest, or whatever. I was told when I joined that if I didn't do it they would disqualify my work not sure if it's true but don't risk it

I don't know for certain that your work would be taken down, it's just what I was told when I started here. I get most of my picture from pinterest so I just write something like. Image courtesy of pinterest.

My work has never been taken down, but I guess it's better to be cautious. And there are lots of beautiful images on Pinterest and other free image sites.
