Misery
An inner ear problem gives me vertigo.27 total reviews

This lune poem, Misery, has the proper formatting and defines the period of vertigo as something less than thrilling. I have never heard of someone joking about it so I imagine it is quite scary.

Thank you Bill, No it isn't someting I would joke about because when I have I really don't darer try to walk and it makes me nauseated but fortunately it wears off after a few hours and I don't get it often.

I had vertigo. Everything is spinning and you feel nauseated. I feel your pain. Good words to describe it and the picture matches it well. Very good job

Thank you Brenda. I appreciate the review. I'm thankful it only lasted a half a day.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with vertigo. It sounds terrible. I haven't tried to write in this form, but it your words worked well. The picture seems like it's an accurate representation. Well done!

Goodness, I am glad it is nothing permanent, Beth!
Writing about these things always calms and settles the mind.
Great piece. Good luck in the Lune contest.

I am so sorry that you suffer from that from time to time. It must be extremely uncomfortable and difficult to cope with. I'm glad it only lasted a few hours. I really liked your lune poem, Beth. All that best of luck. Ulla xcx

Thank you Ulla. It makes you feel miserable but for me it has never lasted over a few hours.

Your brain doing a flip doesn't sound like fun; hope your bouts of this ease up as time goes on. I've known people who have tinnitus; we don't realize how important good ear health is until we suffer from the bad.
Good luck in the contest - good Lune and good presentation.

Thank you Pam. I'm just glad when I've had it, it doesn't usually last over a half a day.

I know the feeling very well. Through my life I have had many times when I have struggled with vertigo and it is not a pleasant thing to have. I wish you the very best and I hope you don't have an another episode of it very soon. Patricia .I know the feeling very well. Thank you Patricia. It is pretty common and a lot of people have it. Thankfully the times I've had it, it doesn't last that long.

Remember the Hitchcock film of the same name? It's a horrible feeling I have had only experienced a few times, when I've had an inner ear infection.
Sounds like it passed. I hope so!

I know it's unnerving. And falls are easy...so you were wise to wait it out!

No, I've been very fortunate that I have had it Beth, you live on your own I take it, so that wouldn't be good, but as long as the symptoms diminish over time, well done, great post, blessings Roy

Since I have it once a twice a year and it has always gone a way, I don't worry about it, but you feel nauseated and need to hold on to something to keep from falling.
Comment from Verna Cole Mitchell
Your words for this are exactly right. Vertigo is a horrible enemy to come to visit. For me, it is even worse at night when I try to turn from one side to the other!

Thank you Verna. I think the angle of my head on my pillow is what brings it on because I only get it at night and have it when I wake up. Thankfully, it doesn't happen often.
