An excellent entry for the nonfiction writing contest and a good first post. Welcome to Fanstory. It's nice to see another dark writer join the community. I'm not sure I can say I enjoyed this piece but I don't think it was meant to be enjoyed. What I can say is that I felt it deeply and it made me emotional. Nice writing. Good luck.
