This non-fiction post brought back memories of hearing Kenny Rogers at a concert at the Utah State Fair, maybe 23 years ago or so.
I liked reading this.
I only have one suggestion:
The ups and downs of life have taught me that the dealings not yet done.
You can probably just insert an apostrophe so that it says dealing's not yet done.
