...and even then, it's probably not such a good idea to judge. If we each just stay in our own lane and act the way WE feel is good is decent, then we save ourselves a lot of hassle and drama.

This is good advice. If you have to judge at all you should always know all the facts before you do or you could do something that could hurt you and the person you judge.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
