I thought this was a very inventive entry.
You also made it rhyme , that's quite a feat.
I love the 4 words you chose.
Initially, when I read Lo mein I thought you were referring to mein in German but the Lo puzzled me so I googled.
Noodles : Lo mein .. your poem made sense.
PS: I voted for Anticipation because of the topic houses .. here in Europe the value of our houses has nosedived due to the eco norms imposed by the EU.)
Europe is a very old continent and houses are old .. my stone house is over 100 years old and to make it eco is practically impossible. Its selling value has plunged.
The leaders have taken our last and most precious resource away : the house.

The house I live in is also old and had a lot of water leaking in last week when it flooded. In fact a number of places I have lived in the US are over 150 years old. Eco houses are a good idea for animals though.

My membership has expired but I haven't had my stuff pulled down just yet. Based on previous times, I tiink the site has a grace period of maybe a week or so before stuff shuts off. I might even have time to do another political hit piece or two before it shuts down but it will probably be when I have something in the middle of a contest, which is why I have stopped...
