Ciao!,

My poem rhymed and the pic was complementary ( I took two hours to find one that mirrored to the T my poem).

But it has one big negative: it's cliche. (sigh)

In all honesty, I would have been happier to come second, your poem deserved the red ribbon.

The topic is sad but by nature I'm gloomy. I prefer films that have sad endings because I believe life is mostly drama, turmoil, and sadness.

There are some happy moments but they are by far fewer.

I love the artwork, that must have taken time to find.

Oh my. This one's a little eerie. I know it's meant to be rueful of a love lost, though, so I'll go with that hypnotic, devastating flow. The picture you found was uncanny-perfect! Good luck with this at the polls, Mystery Writer. xo

Yes, it's me. I think you know who. Don't most people have a ghost from the past? Thanks for the read and the review. xoxo

This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem for the contest
though a bit sad. Love lasts no manner what else may occur.
Interesting art work too.
Nicely done.
Best wishes.
Robert

This was romantic, though not happy. It is a great accomplishment that you threw the reader for a loop with that last line. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
