We humans should be ashamed spending billions on war when children are dying of famine and disease.
Our leaders seek and care only for power and they cause so much pain and sorrow to the innocent.

Welldone on the 161 rhyming scheme! This poem was really touching. It really shows the reality of some places in the world and that we shouldn't take anything for granted because others can't afford it unfortunately. Good luck in the contest!

Ughh, that is just so tragic and ghastly. I've read reports on how there is way more than enough food to feed the world and tons get wasted every year. This is all from greed from those in power. A good entry to draw attention to the problem.
